The goal of this trip is to provide us with an understanding of social issues from a broader perspective and the interventions developed by human service organizations in Mexico. We will spend a week in Puebla volunteering our services in a variety of organizations ranging from state prisons to orphanages. This is a wonderful opportunity for us for self exploration / self-awareness and a multidimensional understanding of a culture other than our own.
